Snails & Slugs:  night-feeding, soft-bodied, shell-less slugs and shelled snails leave slime trails and eat ragged holes in plumeria leaves, which then appear burned looking.  They are most active during the wet seasons, and hibernate in the topsoil during dry seasons.

How to Control Snails & Slugs

Note:  Slug & snail damage to Plumerias is very mild.
(do not use slugs baits around plumerias)

1.  Keep the growing area clean and free of fallen leaves.
(Keep the Greenhouse area as clean as possible)

2.  Hand pick the gross things off !

3.  Use any kind of Slug traps.

4.  Insecticides : Bug-B-Gon Multi-Purpose Garden Dust 
or comparable dusting product. and applications of...
Ortho Diazinon Soil & Turf Insect Control  over the entire yard.
